Ole finished his Canadian championship quickly and easily just after his first birthday. He won two Best Puppy in Groups and a Best Puppy in Show. He finished his Grand Championship by the time he was three, and has completed his Rally Advanced. He hunts every fall with Mark and is a confident, skilled, and passionate retriever. 

 

Ole is well constructed with lovely breed type and plenty of coat. He has a level top-line, a correct tail-set, a nice, long ribcage, and tight feet. He is especially mellow and laid-back in temperament. When excited, Ole picks up the nearest shoe, boot, or slipper to carry and show off. My kids call Ole my 'royal guard' because he follows me everywhere I go and never seems to be more than a few feet from me. Pizza is his favourite food, and while he is an exceptionally well-behaved dog, he does have the one naughty habit of sealing Pizza off the kitchen counter.

Ole was our first Flat-coat and I ventured into the conformation, rally, and obedience rings for the first time with him.

Ole sired a litter in August of 2021, which resulted in 10 beautiful puppies.
