Cricket and I attended the EKC dog show this weekend and enjoyed time with friends from the Flat-coat community. I wanted to get her entered into a show before the arrival of her puppies this fall. For the first time, I entered her into an obedience trial, and she earned her CD (Novice Obedience) title this weekend. She had to complete and pass 3 legs (tests) in order to earn the title. Twice she was awarded 'high in class', with 4 competitors in the class. She also snagged another point towards her championship. I loved getting to spend one-on-one time with Cricket over the weekend, and am exceptionally proud of her.

I was disappointed the show didn't have a baby puppy class, as I would have loved to introduce Stevie to conformation as well. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to enter her into a show before the end of the year.
